Her long-awaited marriagehad quickly ended in divorce. She had struggled to get a grip on hersingle life. She hadn't chosen it, but she decided she would live itwith utmost enjoyment and satisfaction. was active in Sunday School, in the choir, as a leader ofthe junior high girls' group, and in the church renewal movement.Vicki enjoyed knowing . 's whole face seemed to smile.One day Vicki asked , "How is it that you are always sohappy, you have so much energy, and you never seem to get down?" Withher eyes smiling, said, "I know the Secret!""What secret is that?" "What are you talking about?" Vicki asked. replied, "I'll tell you all about it, but you

have topromise to share the Secret with others." Vicki agreed, "Okay, nowwhat is it?"The Secret is this: "I have learned there is little I can do in mylife that will make me truly happy. I must depend on God to make mehappy and meet my needs. When a need arises in my life, I have totrust God to supply according to HIS riches. I have learned most ofthe time I don't need half of what I think I do. He has never let medown." Since I learned the Secret, I am happy.Vicki's first thought was, That's too simple! But upon reflectingover her own life she recalled how she thought a bigger house wouldmake her happy, but it didn't! She thought a better paying job wouldmake her happy, but it hadn't. When did she realize her greatesthappiness? Sitting on the floor with her grandchildren, playinggames, eating pizza or reading a story, a simple gift from God. knew the secret, Vicki learned the secret, and now you

knowit too!We can't depend on people to make us happy. Only GOD in Hiswisdom can do that.Trust HIM! And now I pass the Secret on to you! So once you getit, what are you gonna do? YOU have to tell someone the Secret, too!That GOD in HIS wisdom will take care of YOU!"** There is a very special message here. All of Us need to believe in something!Let's face it, Life can be hard with all of its twists and turns. So my suggestion for you guys is to give it a try. Just 'TRY' to believe in God, a Higher Power, a Heavenly Father, the Divine Universe, Supreme Consciousness, or Whatever you want to call it. One of the analogies that I always draw upon may be a littlecorny, but I feel is quite applicable - to quote from the "STAR WAR" movies, "Let the FORCE Be WITH YOU!!" That actually is one of my favorite quotes. Okay, call God 'THE FORCE' if you want to. It doesn't matter, just TRY TO Believe in Something. Something good and positive, & it will become inspirational to you, and give you strength, comfort, and power to overcome "THE DARK SIDE".
