Guest guest
On the API yahoo group they had info on some local dentists that bought out the candy at $1 a pound as well. Â Re: Halloween Candy Buy-out What a great idea!!! Thank you for sharing!! Saenz (Toll-Free) www.YourIncomeYourFuture.com Halloween Candy Buy-out Ok, so for those of you who cave into Halloween, I wanted to share tactics I've use in my family in case others want to implement -- I let my kids eat what is 'safe' (we have food allergies as well) the night of Halloween. They then can pick up to 10 pieces to save for the future. I buy the rest out a 5 - 10 cents a piece based on size, and turn it into a math problem. I then dispose of the rest. It costs me around $5 per kid and they can put it in their piggy bank. When my son was younger, the 'Halloween Goblin' used to visit our house. Leave all your candy out Halloween night, and the goblin brings you a gift in return. I realize this may not work for everyone, but thought it may be a good strategy for some. The goblin may be tough to implement at this late moment, but the $$ works anytime.
