Marcie,

So glad to hear your appointment went well! Dr. R and his office are great. I am excited and getting impatient for my follow-up on the 14th. I keep having to reschedule and it's frustrating. I put in my two weeks notice at work on Monday, and if they don't let me off for my appointment I'm going to let them know my last day will be the 13th instead of the 15th, cause I'm going to my dang appointment one way or another!!! LOL!

after she finally found a vein! I knew that I hadn't drank enough water yesterday or last night, and you could tell this morning. I'm not usually phobic of needles, but by the time she got all of the blood drawn, my arm hurt SO badly!

I go back next Friday the 15th at 4:00. My friend is going to take notes and be an extra set of ears. Sharon said to plan on being there 2 hours! He spent more than an hour with me yesterday! I am VERY impressed at how much time he spent with me and studying my case after I left. It sounded to me like he really thinks about getting a plan in action.

I'll keep everbody posted...and Darla, your sister is in good hands! I was very at ease when he talked because he used a couple of terms that I could really relate to. You know, the 'Dr Phil' type of sayings! 'More than one way to skin a cat.' I heard that my whole life!

I also sensed that my appointment with him was very blessed.

Marcie I am so glad to hear you are on the right track, I spoke to Sis yesterday and we decided I woudl go with her to see Dr R...so I will be driving her to Lubbock the 26th we already have our room reserved at the Marriott...man I hate it when they cannot find a vein , if they dont get me on the 1st or 2nd stick I make them get somebody else...dont relish being a pin cushion...I will be sure to tell sis to drink alot of water the night before blood test, she is to see Dr R at 4pm on the 26th and the next day they will draw blood...so it looks like you and Sis will both be starting on the Dr R regime at about the same time it will be interesting to see how you both progress. Darla
