It can seem quite daunting, particularly when you're not sure exactly why you are doing what you are doing. In this seminar, the reasons for the need for consistency will be spelled out in common English. Key topics in behavioral programming, including generalization, how and when to reinforce and why, how and when to ignore behavior and why, teaching alternate behaviors will be covered. This seminar is aimed at those who serve in care-taker roles for children with autistic-spectrum disorders and who are not necessarily involved in intensive teaching efforts.
