Guest guest
I have used Edmark quite a bit over the past 15 years. If your caseload is such that you are able to work 1-1 with each child for 10-20 minutes a session. I used the Homework portion for set 1 but did not see much benefit due to lack of parent involvement. I like the reinforcing game Bingo that can be purchased separately. The Supplemental worksheets are good too. I do not have the software. Every child I have taught with Edmark was very successful in this program. The picture/phrase-sentence cards are excellent for the visual learner. I also put the words on Language Master cards for additional independent practice and review. I have also ordered the DT Trainer but have not received it yet. I'll be looking for responses on it also. I'm looking for a reading program for a 4th grade Autistic child. He has great word recognition skills but doesn't always get the main idea of what he reads; unless he is given multiple choice. I need something for a Kindergartener that might bridge the gap I'm trying to fill with the 4th grader. I'm wanting something designed for students with language processing problems. Any input will be appreciated! MJ
