I have searched the archives and couldn't find a specific answer to this question - so if this has already been discussed I apologize. I am wondering what the difference is between soap that has gone through a gel stage and soap that has been heated either in the oven or using a crock pot? I understand that soaps made using this type of HP are ready to market in a few days. Why is cold process soap not considered marketable after going through a gel stage? Thanks.
