Thanks for asking, Amy. You guys on this list are more concerned about it than most friends and family and I appreciate it. I think it was harder on dh and I but she came through it like a trooper. She was crying for about an hour before the test since she was hungry and then got an IV in her foot just in case something happened. They go by weight and gave her 400 mg and then she threw some of it up....I just think she was so upset and got sick from that. She started to fall asleep and we thought she was out but as soon as they got her on the gurney she started crying. The nurse gave her another 200 mg and finally that worked. I was in the room the whole time and she did great not waking up once. We got her out and started talking to her and messing with her feet and she slowly woke up. The nurse told us that Chloral Hydrate (the oral sedative) is an alcohol based medicine and would feel drunk just like we would from it. She is now back to her normal, happy self and I couldn't be more relieved. It was so scary seeing her go through that. They are looking for craniosynostosis and possible lesions or tumors in her brain...just common protocol to rule out everything causing her conditions. turned 6 months on the 28th. They didn't rate her plagio but I believe it's moderate.

Our appt. with Dr. Frim is at 1:30 and seeing how long we sit and wait we will probably run into you. I have been doing the same with 's head!!! I will let you know how she likes her helmet. Which Ballert do you go to?

I just got the call back from Dr. Frim's sec--Adam's appt is Oct 31 at 2:15. So, we very well could run into you and . Hope she like her new helmet tomorrow. I've been obsessviely kissing and rubbing Adam's head lately---he get's his helmet next Monday (think I'm going to miss staring at his bald spot) .

Also, sounds like the concensus is "no worries" about Adam's little tremor. Doesn't that sound like the same story many of us have heard about our babies flat spots? Do nothing and it will go away on it's own. I hope these tremors do. I'll talk to Adam's ped on Thurs. Can't believe he's almost 6 mons old. Where did 1/2 a year go??

I am glad too...it got really scary for a bit there and I was crying and so was dh. I was very sweet. It's amazing how much these little ones affect our lives. Yes, we get the results on Thurs. and I will keep everyone posted on what we find out.

Our orthotist said specifically he will set up appts. for adjustments when we are at Dr. Frim's for the Univ. of Chic. office. You might have to see Jim but he's a very nice guy and you should like him.

I am looking forward to seeing you. Are you bringing Adam to the office in his costume? I am considering dressing in hers. will be the cute girl in the helmet also...it will probably be love at first site for them!!! I will let you know how it goes tomorrow!!!

Glad YOU survived. I swear, everything is harder on us moms. Just remember, our little ones won't remember any of this. You get the results from Dr. Frim on Thurs, right?? We'll be thinking of you.

We went to the Naperville Ballert office....it's closest to home. Although, I know there's one at the Univ. of Chic. What are the chances someone could make an adustment the same day as Dr. Frim suggests it?? Maybe it doesn't work like that--i have no idea.

Keep us posted on 's status. We'll see you on Halloween. Adam will be the cute boy in the helmet (he turns 6 mons on the 15th....born on tax day).
