Re: measurements of change?

Mel,

My doctor did some measurements, but he said that were not extremely reliable

because as your baby's head shape changes it is hard to get good follow up

measurements. My daughter's ears were assymetrical and where the ortho

measured from ear to ear at the beginning was not where her ears were at the

end. He was a firm believer in gauging improvement by what you could

physically see. When your baby outgrows the band is the best time to decide

if what you see is " enough " correction or if you (or the ortho) feel that

more correction could be gotten from a second helmet.

Hope this helps!

Mel we never had measurements so I cant help you there we only went by what

we and the ortho saw and we trusted that judgment there is something out

there on measurements an article or something. If I can find it I will

forward it.
