Guest guest
Hey all! Vivian developed a red spot right above her ear on the side of her head. Her head has a little bump right here (so does mine) so I think the foam is right up on it. Anyway, the skin broke down last night (I have been watching it and not putting the helmet on till the spot goes away), it's about the size of an eraser on a pencil. She is seeing the ortho today to get adjusted. Do any of you have any tips or know how long can I expect her to have to be out of the helmet? I'm of course bummed because of the wasted time, blah, blah.

Guest guest
, Wow - what a bummer! Well, you'll have to leave the band off until the skin is healed. Best thing would be to get in to see the ortho and have an adjustment done. At least the red spot indicates growth and change! Guest guest
Oh that is upsetting well atleast you are getting it adjusted today that is good. Maybe a day or two seemed to heal up pretty quickly and then was back in. I hope it is not too long-please let us know. Maybe the ortho will give you some mole skin to help itout! beck
