I would love an opinion or actual knowledge of what the TSH & FT4

should be for a 3 year old.

I had a TT on 11/07 and know that both my children are at higher risk

for Thyroid problems since I was unknowingly had Hashimotos while

pregnant with them. I just had my sons labs done this week and I

cannot find anything on the web that states what is normal for a

child.

's TSH was 3.18 and FT4 was 1.3.

He does have signs of Hypothyroidism (not growing and not a handful,

pale). His sister is 17 months younger and is almost as tall as him

(2 inches shorter and continuing to grow).

I love his pediatrician but I asked her twice to run a TPO for

Hashimotos (I had it bad) and since it's not something commonly asked

for she ended up running a immunogloblin test which came back as 93

(range 24-121).

I would love thoughts and facts as to what avenue I should persue or

your own personal experiences with your children. I know what to do

for me but there is so little or no information about children.

Thanks for your help,

Penny

Mother to Micheal 3 and 22 months
