Guest guest
went to the doctor yesterday. His normal Ped. wasn't in so he saw the nurse. Once again his ear was extremely infected, but he doesn't have croup as I had thought. It took the nurse an extended amount of time to return to our room and upon entering she was apologizing for the length of the wait. She explained that she was confused as to why the Ped. has him on this last medication. You may remember, I asked you guys about it. It was the one that is mostly given to people with colitis. I told her I questioned it as well, but the doctor seemed to think it was necessary. She doesn't want to put on any other antibiotic until she speaks to his normal doctor (today) to see what his reasoning behind it is. I'm anxious to here her opinion. Took to the immunologist last friday and they are beginning the series of blood tests to determine exactly where he is lacking. I wish I would have taken him months ago. Although I am anxious to get the results of the first series back (27th), I dread returning knowing that he has to give blood at least 2 more times. He totally freaks out, and it doesn't help that the nurses are slower than molasses doing it!! The poor little man will be 2 on Oct. 4th and he's seen the doctor more times than some people do in a life time! Take care all!
