Guest guest
My 6 yr old autistic is currently in a fantastic placement so he will remain in school as long as things are going well. I do currently homeschool my 8 year old dd ( ocd, mild aspbergers) and 4 year old dd. You do have to officialy withdraw your child if he/she is already attending school. this can be done by either going down to the school and telling them you are withdrawing ....or you can send a letter to the principal of the school stating you are withdrawing your child effective ____date. If you do it this way i suggest sending it certified mail. Keep them home the day you send it . You are only required to provide a letter of assurance if an attendance officer requests it. You are not required to tell them what if any curriculum you are using, provide samples of work...simply a short one page letter stating that you are teaching the required subjects. If i can help in any way feel free to e-mail me . --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
