Guest guest
same here... one day he may like bubbles and we use that as a reinforcer but then the next day he couldn't care less. sounds a little weird but the biggest reinforcer is his self pride. when he does something and he knows he's been working on it for a while and everything clicks he gets the most proud expression on his face and he can glow for hours. whether he wants it or not, we give lots of verbal praise and hugs for jobs well done and the best thing about those is they are free and don't cause cavities. He does like doing things, such as computer, toys, etc., but not so much so I can use them as reinforcers (he's fine if I remove them). I tried also to use as reinforces food or small objects he uses for self-stimulatory activities, but with no success. Does anybody else have this problem? Also, how can I help him develop special interests? Thank you, Iuliana. __________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
