For all the folks with allergies, I have found getting these emails really helpful as at least I know why my symptoms are so bad on a given day. For example, the combination of grasses, pines and fungus are likely what's killing me today. I typically react very strongly to any amount of fungus. I've had several doctors tell me that the DFW area (and Texas in general) is one of the worst places to live if you have allergies. I have found using Nature's Sunshine " ALJ " herbal formula to be quite helpful. I also do the daily nasal irrigation (IMHO, that's by far the most helpful thing). I can't take antihistamines as they all make me drowsy. I have had done NAET/accupuncture for these allergies, but my experience has been that our immune systems are just so weakened that we also don't react in the expected manner to these treatments. Also, for optimum results the treatments require you avoid the substance for 24 hours to allow your body to heal, however, that's extremely difficult.
