Hello Tom and Diane and Penelope:

I am sharing this with you, even though it is most

likely not the type of stories you are after.

Recently I did the forgiveness exercise. I made

three papers out. One was a list of personals,

a list of friends (non family) and a list of

professional and other. I kept the list going

for 3 days adding a name as I thought of one

and why the forgiveness was needed.

Great exercise I must say.

Anyway on day 4 I took the lists to the

shredder and let them go into little bits smiling

the whole time. The next moring I awoke

with a smile and a better inner-self feeling.

On one of those lists was my Biological Mother,

Step mother and Father. Written just that way.

I barely know my Boilogical Mother, though

lately I have considered going and meeting

with her face to face. The Step Mother and

Father are passed away several years now

and I am mostly senior in the family tree.

Last night out of no where my biological

mother phones me. I was so suprised, first

time ever, I always received just a xmas card.

Well she asked that I get in contact soon she

was getting along in years and her and my

father needed to set down and talk. I reminded

her that my father was passed away. She said

no he was not, I never knew him. It was a secret??.

My first thought was the foregiviness listings.

I must admit your teachings are working, because

I did not get upset about this shocking event,

instead I thought of it as a double blessing.

When I started the course, I was focused on Money.

It is something I felt I need and so do my bill

collectors I find, but since my lessons started I

do not think so much about money anymore, I am

of the mind that it will come as I really need it,

there are so many other things to focus on and one

is living in the now, letting go of the past and

asking for and taking a hold of the now is a better

theme than money.
