Guest guest
I am looking for a natural alternative to Nizoral or Diflucan. A couple of years ago someone here discussed their success with Undenoic Acid. If you used UA, how much and how long was it taken? Has anyone used anything else that worked? Thank you. Guest guest
We've used Twin lab's Yeast fighters, Capryllic acid, garlic, and the enzyme,Candex. We've also used Thorn lab's Undecyn and many different kinds of probiotics. We've also used Nutribiotic Grapfruitseed extract oral drops and nasal spray as well as ear drops. We rotate yeast treatments, so we'll use one prodct for a few weeks, switch to another product. We do the same with probiotics. The ones I like best are Thorn lab's Lactobasillus Sporagenes and Klaire lab's Ther Biotic Complete. I know that quite a few parents like Kirkman Lab's Candidase (an enzyme that kills the yeast's outer wall like Candex), and Pro-bio gold (probiotics. (Can you tell yeast was a major problem for my son.) Nagla > > I am looking for a natural alternative to Nizoral or Diflucan. Guest guest
Recovering kids and biomedical interventions are talked about greatly on forums such as: _http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism/_ (http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism/) Many of the people there have years of experience towards recovering their children. Many have done tons of research and would most likely have many answers for you on biomedical and related-type treatments. Guest guest
Thank you to all who responded with answers. I understand the need to rotate yeast treatments and switch to another anti-fungal product but why would you need to rotate probiotics? Guest guest
There is also a species known as sacchromyces boulardi that is particularly beneficial in killing yeast. Klair Labs has a number of super probiotics. The complete powder has a 100 billion cells per 1/4 tsp. You can't purchase them on-line unless you are a MD. You can by thru some docs offices or e-mail privately and I have a friend who sells these products. We also just went thru a serious gut protocol with my son for yeast, clostridium, and cryptosporidium. We have just sent in another specimen to see if herbal remedies worked. If not will use Flagyl and Diflucan. Herbal remedies included Wormwood, Black walnut hull, Oregon grape, Biocidin, Kyolic garlic, and Goldenseal. In addition, we used Candex in am and pm as well as probiotics after lunch and at bedtime. I'm hopeful it worked, but won't know until we get results! Hope this helps! asccnagla wrote: Rotating probiotics would give you different variety of good bacteria.
