Guest guest
I don’t know whether they are definitely related except that if you are hypothyroid, your body is in general out-of-balance which lends itself to low immunity, etc. I think Candida is a problem in the general population. Like Marti said due to antibiotics, etc. Here is a link to a website: http://www.thecandidadiet.com/ It looks like the website is pushing “Threelac” which I believe is a really expensive probiotic. It looks like if you google “candida diet” you’ll get quite a few hits. If you look at a list of symptoms for Candida they definitely overlap with hypothyroid symptoms. I was told for years that I had Candida by holistic doctors when I think my real problems was hypothyroidism with maybe some Candida issues clouding the picture. Pylori and Thyroid disease Do you have a website for the diet? I've had issues with Candida off and on, but never tried a specific diet to eliminate it. I never knew it was in anyway related to Hypothyroid issues.
Guest guest
My nutritionist will usually have clients do Threelac for up to 3 months, as supposedly it is the best and strongest. Then, she will switch to a cheaper probiotic, if client wants. Guest guest
I took Nystatin for a couple of weeks, but no " cleanses " - and I did add a probiotic capsule once a day. I believe it's called " 4 x 6 Acidopholus " - I know I didn't spell that right. Also, I looked at the diet below and the biggest difference from what my book says is that I was allowed to drink tea - as much as I wanted.
