Guest guest
"Continuous modes of thinking and speaking produce body behaviorsand postures and eases or dis-eases. The person who has a permanentlyscowling face did not produce that by having joyous, loving thoughts.Older people's faces and bodies show so clearly a lifetime ofthinking patterns. How will you look when you are elderly?"From: "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise L. HayRe: above quote: I am wanting to give an example of this that rings true forme, but I don't want to offend anyone, nor do I really want to callthis person 'elderly'. BUT, since I'm a huge Beatles fan and McCartney fan - I have noticed through the years that in McCartney's face, how the laugh lines and smile lines are veryevident on his face on either side of his eyes, and elsewhere on hisface. To me, even though this man has had heartache with the loss ofhis wife (in 1998), the loss of on (last year), the lossof Lennon (1980) - all people very close to him. He still lookswell-preserved at the age of 65 - because he has lived his life welland fully and has treasured the good times and has loved alot. Also, from what I know of him, he takes good care of his health. He eatsveggie, exercises daily including yoga and the Technique, and has a career that he truly enjoys. Maybe some of this is anexample for the rest of us! ______________________________________________________________________"I believe we create every so-called 'illness' in our body. Thebody, like everything else in life, is a mirror of our inner thoughtsand beliefs. The body is always talking to us, if we will only taketime to listen. Every cell within your body responds to every singlethought you think and every word you speak."From: "You Can Heal Your Life" by Louise L.
