Guest guest
There are two entries for Dr. Grebennikov in our Database. They should explain why I no longer have him on our list of Texas Armour Docs in "Files." He used to be a better doc than he is now. The board skewering of Fran Rose and Jackie Springer (in Kansas) caused some otherwise good thyroid docs to get cold feet. >> I am new to this Group, and new to learning about thyroid problems. Guest guest
When I joined this group, I didn't have to add my entry for Grebennikov, because two other people had already gotten there. He will Rx Armour, but he altogether avoids all your other symptoms and seems to think there's a one size fits all dosage of about 2 grains. When I told him that I had problems sleeping at nite (I later learned through saliva tests that I had elevated evening cortisol), he told me to drink a glass of wine at nite. He also seems to be far more focused on chelation therapy than anything else (at least when I went to him 4 years ago). My blood tests showed elevated aluminum, but apparently the levels weren't high enough for him to be concerned. He told me there was nothing wrong with me. Also, there were often very long waits for my appt. I arrived one afternoon with the waiting room already full and he wasn't even in the office - he didn't arrive until I had been waiting there 30 minutes or so.
