I use it all the time and love it, but if anyone on this list would be able to tell me what it is by looking and tasting, I would drive it to them to find out. I believe it is either filmjolk or viili. I put a small amount in a jar, add raw milk, and 12-24 hours later thick, wonderful cultured milk. It was a gift from a friend, but she did not know the name. She had purchased it at a Sally Fallon seminar. If anyone can help, contact me off list. , if you want some, contact me off list.
