Well, my son aged out of school that year and I had forgotten that people

homeschooling in Texas are not getting special education services. But,

apparently we in Texas are not alone. Right?

I still feel that homeschooling probably does a lot more good than most school

programs. But, I guess I am biased with the little my son received for what is

called education. At least now schools have to teach those special ed students.

I can remember substitute teaching and seeing adults who could stand and walk

around but were pretty disabled, receiving few educational opportunities and

many nap times in school.
