Hi. I'm seeing all the carpet and pet allergy stuff lately here and am here to add my 2 cents. Bare, slick surfaced floors have made an enormous positive health difference for me. The mold and other nonremovable filth trapped in carpets puts off toxins that still can make me sick just walking into a room.

New car smell ?- I will not even sit in one because of the high level of outgassing and the way my body reacts to tell me that it was NOT designed to handle those toxins. They are pretty though, aren't they? But so is a coral snake.

RE PET ALLERGIES - when I inherited the family dog after both my parents left me behind and made their trip to heaven, I would get so sick from even petting her - a clean little house dog....itching, red eyes, feeling like I had the flu, etc. I started bathing her in my hypoallergenic shampoo and it helped a little, then I started bathing her more frequently and finally found that an every five day bath AND cleaning the floors once or twice a week (yes that house had carpets so I got a Wind Tunnel vac and did the vac thing (YEAH Hepa filter !) once or twice a week. There was great relief of my allergies to her.....and her skin condition cleared up in the process. She became my lap dog and were both the happier for it. I have to wonder how much of the allergy was to the dust mites that live off dead skin cells. With the more frequent dog bathing, I'm sure that what Muffy shed was less than before. I have used

Magick Shampoo for about five years and it still does not bother me in any way - a near miracle with my sensitivities. The dog shampoo sent me throught the roof - reaction wise.

Free for nothing addendum - - - The flea thing was an intermittent battle because of other dogs coming into the yard and Muffy was so allergic to them....boric acid powder everywhere in the house then (I now also add diatemaceous earth and sometimes sevin dust outside and us the diatemacious earth by itself inside). An all natural flea repellant is made by Sargents - Nature's Guardian or Garden ----green box Walmart - less than $10 for three doses. This stuff makes the dog or cat not taste good (never even like cats and two have adopted me so I'm hooked on them now also), the adult fleas will not bite/suck blood because of the herbal smell/taste so no eggs.... so no more fleas.....this comibination has worked so well that I asked at the feed store if this was just a quirky year or what beacuse I've had so little evidence that fleas even exist. He said "NO" and asked what I was doing. When I told him the combination I

had used in order to be exposed to as little toxicity as possible and still get the job done, he wrote the information down and still looked at me like he could not believe that something this simple could help this much. Well it has !

Thanks to all for your sharing of symptoms, labs, what works and what doesn't and for letting the rest of us usual "readers only" get in on the info and know that there is hope, and that the battle is not finished until health is reclaimed and restored. I pray we all find the pathway to better health and increased vitality including a joy in living the gift of life we have been given.
