When I was looking for stuff on the effects of SSRI antidepressants on the thyroid hormones, I ran across this website, and it is wonderful for explaining what happens with the thyroid hormones in the human brain. Of course, rats are used to discover some of this stuff, but I thought it gave one of the best explanations I've seen, in language that can be more understood.
