At 's first Special Olympics he was running against another child with Ds ( was 9 and would have been 11) and was lagging behind. stopped and went back to get to make sure he finished!! Then at a track meet for typically developing kids, was in a race and of course everyone else was done and all of a sudden I realized I wasn't the only one still cheering as trotted down the track. I turned around the entire stands were on the feet cheering and supporting ! Loved, loved, loved it. They were all great! Thanks!
