Guest guest
As the subject line says; I am excited to be a new member of this group. I had wanted, for years to find a doctor that would treat me for low thyroid. I had so many of the symptoms of low thyroid and was finding out that more and more of my family members had been found out to have low thyroid function. When I was finally able to find a doctor that would treat my low thyroid, I felt that I was on my way to feeling better. Most doctors; when they see the lab results that show a person as being borderline; they believe the patient to be fine. So when my new doctor saw that my lab tests showed me to be borderline; she said she agrees with her endocrinologist; that when a patient is borderline it can't hurt to try them on a low dose of thyroid medication. So she started me on a low dose of Levothyroxine (generic of Synthoid). I have been on the Levothyroxine for over 4 months (going on 5) and have not been feeling any better. I started researching Levothyroxine and that is how I read about how a lot of people are not helped by the synthetic thyroid medications and eventually found information on Armour natural thyroid. After finding the information on Armour; I was lucky enough to find a web site where people can share the information with others about doctors who will prescribe Armour. I posted on that site about wanting to know if there are any doctors in El Paso, Tx that do prescribe Armour. After sometime; someone posted a reply about this Yahoo group. I am very grateful to the person who posted the reply about this Yahoo group.
Guest guest
The doctor list is in "Files" on our site. There is also a database where members have evaluated their docs. >> As the subject line says; I am excited to be a new member of this > group. > > I had wanted, for years to find a doctor that would treat me for low > thyroid.
