Guest guest
Ding Dang??? lol. That is very southern. I am in Texas and that would be a proper "word" here. I had a friend who is Russian move to the area a few years ago from California. He asked me where the closest bank was and I pointed and said "over yonder". He looked puzzled, and with his heavy accent asked, "where is yonder". It was immensly funny (at least to me). As for my poetry, I have compiled a book very recently and am trying to find a gentle (financially) way to publish it. I also wrote a small book of serious nature that my worship center is negating to try to have it published for me with their funds. I will wait and see with both books. But a wonderful member of my employees in the plant Nursery I managed.. Well I was having a meeting.. I would always place in the announcement that it was time to " SHOOT THE BOLOGNA " giving the time and the place.. HA! HA! It scared her to death.. Her vision was that we were going to bring guns of some sort and shoot at meat.. LOL LOL LOL LOL! She didn't show for the meetings.. so I finally called her and she said in her country they don't shoot meat.. LOL LOL LOL Had a hard time explaining that one.. But she finally got the jest.
