Caramel recipe without corn syrup?

Does anyone have a really good caramel candy recipe that doesn't use

corn syrup? I want to individually wrap the caramels for gifts. I've

had little luck finding a recipe online.

can you use honey in place of corn syrup?  My experience with honey is it is a

little stickier than corn syrup and that you have to cook it just a little bit

longer.

What are you trying to make? Are you saying you need corn syrup to make

caramel? I know how to make caramel with just ordinary cane juice. Would

that be helpful?
