Guest guest
I just came back from my neighborhood CUB; I'd planned to pick up a few items and I came home with.....a broom and a headache. The over-packaged processed crap was overwhelming...especially in light of the " experience " last night. It is the farmer's market and the Warehouse for me. (Does anyone else play the " my grocery cart is healthier than yours " private judgment game when they go to the grocery store?) Will, what is the process for getting vendor's products at the Warehouse? I know you've asked for ideas of what to have, but if we know of a specific purveyor, should we refer them to you, the website, or how would you prefer it be handled? I would like to see wild rice available and currently buy excellent " real " rice from a nice lady at the F.M. on Lyndale but when the market closes for the season, I won't have a source. My mind has been buzzing with ideas for the Warehouse, many of these aren't new but we could do social gatherings/potlucks, seed and plant swaps, food demos/classes, book-readings, did I mention parties? fund-raising........ Thanks again for the kefir grains Kathy-Jo, they are working their magic as I write. Lynn
