Randy you are such a beautiful soul !!!! you amaze me with your words I hope you have a beautiful day my friend Blessed BeAnastasiaRandy <jqpublic_59@...> wrote: Hello Dear Ones; This needs an introduction. Randy, you're such a compassionate soul. This poem of yours is just amazing as usual!

Hello to new members, and Char and all new members to this group, my name is Rhonda, I live on the mid north coast of New South Wales, Australia, in a beautiful sea side rural village. I joined this group back in April this year I think and am constantly amazed by the people and posts here.

I'm currently studying a Certificate 4 course in Financial Services (Accounting) at the ripe old age of 39! Not having done any further study since leaving high school at 17, I'm finding it an interesting challenge time wise! (No time for socialising on the net anymore..... boo hoo!)

A big hi to old members, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. If anyone's interested, my myspace page is www.myspace.com/rhondiel but not spending much time there these days either!

Anyway, I hope everyone is well.

Love & Light,

Rhonda

Hello Dear Ones;

This needs an introduction. It is unusual because it was written for an actual person with an actual event. No imagination this time- Saturday evening, a lady from the worship center I attend called me and asked if she could come over and if we could do the Chenrezik Puja (a Tibetan prayer for universal compassion done in song form). I found this most touching so I agreed. She came, we drank coffee, then sat on the floor and sang to the Heavens. Afterwards, she was sitting on the couch and started crying very heavily. I felt this pain she was carrying and sat by her to comfort. She declined to say specificly what brought her to tears but I did my best to help with cleavor sentences. I then realized that she needed the strength from the singing and she had chosen me to do it with her. I felt humbled. Sunday morning, I still felt the pain she was carrying and I composed this "poem" which will be given to her next time I see her at the center. We

all have times when we need the company of others. I know I have had my days also. Now that you all have the storyline, here are the words.

Planting Flowers

The here and now is your

and yours alone.

Precious person-

self labeled as vunerable,

seen by others as venerable,

graciously accept with all your heart

as you inhale the gift of today.

Breathe it in slowly, savoring.

Every choice and decision

you have made up until now

has created this now.

Though still carrying

the scars and wounds

life so easily brings,

you have overcome!

You have made it

to become a most beautiful flower.

Be proud.

Be happy.

Memories are teachers,

nothing more.

You have become

this most beautiful bright soul

all by yourself.

No one planted you,

watered and nurtured you,

nor brought you inside

on chilly days..

You alone, (as everyone else),

have become who you are;

Brightness.

Fill your pockets and purse

with prayers of hope,

compassion and healing.

Sing them to the Heavens

for those who have chosen

to live among the weeds instead.

But never forget,

that it is their choice,

theirs alone,

whether the songs are heard.

By changing ourself,

we have changed the world,

making it better or worse.

A realization which must ome

from within.

You have found and practice this.

Rejoice in who you are today,

not yesterday.

Remember our prayers are small

in this infinate universe,

and, as summer showers

produce spectacular rainbows,

may any tears you shed

become the cause for the same result.

Dearest Randy -

Heartfelt thanks for very kindly sharing your beautiful poem with us.

I am sure your friend will be greatly touched and moved by your

compassionate words.

Please very kindly forgive me for this being my first post - your poem

deeply resonated with me and I felt compelled to send my humble thanks

to you. My name is Jayne and I live in South East London, England

with my Husband and our beloved cats, Koda and Cookie. I am greatly

interested in crystals, alternative medicine and spirituality but I am

afraid I do not have any skills in these areas.

Very much hope to speak to you again soon and hope you are having a

very peaceful and joyful day.

With much metta and a deep bow -

Dearest Sister Jayne; I am honored that my words touched you as they did. I sometimes post my work here because it is enjoyed. Even sad poems can and will find others who relate. Poetry is a diary of the soul and I am blessed to have this gift. Be careful though... sometimes I do post my attempts at wisdom or bad jokes lol. We are human, and these are all pieces of the puzzle. -By the way, I gave that poem to the lady at my worship and got a sincere smile in return. I told her everytime she is feeling low or having a bad day, read it again. I think this was a happy ending. I see the pains and torments of others and I always feel their suffering. I help as best I can and sometimes (as this case), express it on paper also. Post here anytime, this is the warmest most "alive" group you will evry find. This is a vow. (smiles). Warmth and Light, Randy __________________________________________________
