Pre-diabetes and hypothyroidism

Hi everyone. My mom was diagnosed with hypothyroidism a few months ago, and she

has

just been diagnosed with pre-diabetes. She is having a hard time dealing with

this issue, so I

don't really have much information about it yet. I know that we have a family

history of sugar

diabetes, though. Does anyone here have both of these conditions? And is there

anything I

need to tell my mom in order to make sure that she is getting the best possible

treatment?

I guess I am also going to need to be tested as well. I guess I ought to be

used to the blood

tests by now, huh?
