I fold my hands in prayer, dear God,

and humbly turn to Thee,

You are the Master of my fate,

The dearest Friend to me,

I know you are forever near,

To guide and strengthen me.

You are the ballast for my sails,

The wind that sets me free.

I fold my hands in prayer, and know

That come what may You share

My sorrows, pain and sweetest joys

Because You always care.

I fold my hands in faith, and feel

Your Holy Presence fill

My heart and soul with wondrous joy,

And always - always will.
