Guest guest
I just found out that the possibility of my insurance company paying for my son's ABA therapy is going to be very slim. Has anyone else heard of or ran across the fact that unless the provider has a " fully funded " contract that they don't pay????? I thought that w/ HB 1919 insurance companies were required to pay for ABA therapy...I didn't know that only the most expensive, almost unattainable insurance policies applied to this bill. I am thinking that my husbands company has a " self funded " contract w/ the insurance companies. Does any one know if they're insurance is a " Fully funded " or a " self funded " contract? If so have you gotten payment for ABA therapy? I'd really like to get to the bottom of this. I plan on writing letters to whoever needed already once they deny my autistic (but primarily Apraxic) son of speech therapy..so why not on this issue too I guess! Also, does anyone have the address and/or contact info. for the Insurance licensee board off hand?? Thanks for any insight!!!
