Guest guest
Hi everyone, just wanted to write and let you know how things are going. After 3 1/2 years of thyroid problems from Graves to Hashi's, and 3 1/2 years of all different kinds of Drs.- I finally feel great! I have been seeing Dr. Heald, physician assistant in grapevine. I started seeing him a few months ago and at that time I was on Synthroid. He recommended I switch to Armour and I hesitated. But after several dosage changes, I wasn't doing any better on the Synthroid. I finally decided on Armour and I wish I had done it years ago. After over a month on Armour I feel like my old self. The things that were familiar about myself- strong nails, healthy hair, enjoying exercise, etc., etc. (I could go on for hours)- all came back. And although I'm one that stresses symptoms over test results, I do have to mention that my labs for the first time in years have come back normal. I wanted to share my good news because over the past year I've only shared the bad news and finally I have good news! Thank you everyone for your shared experiences and information. I wouldn't have known most of the things I do about my thyroid without this site.
