I think you are refering to Methylchloroisothiazolinone and Methylisothiazolinone. They are preservatives. The principle supplier in the US is Rohm & Haas and it is sold under the trade name Kathon CG. http://www.rhbiocides.com/markets_and_products/personalcarekathon.html >Also, there is caramel in it - is it for color? Thats the only justification I can see. >Here is the ingredients list (Tea Tree and Lavender seem to be quite >high, am I correct?) Absolutely! >DI Water, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, >Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Cocamidoproply >Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Nettle Extract, >Chamomile Extract, Polyquaternium 10, >Hops Extract, Rosemary Extract, Sage >Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Horsetail >Rush Extract, Walnut Extract, Orange >Oil, Burdock Extract, Witch Hazel Extract, >Natural Henna Extract, Panthenol, >Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Glycol Stearate, >Benzophenone-4, Dimethicone, Citric Acid, >Methylchloroisothiazoline/Methylisothiazoline, >Caramel. It's a strange list! Maurice ------------------------------------------------------- Maurice O.
