Guest guest
Hi Carol...you must be flaring good! A sed rate that goes from normal to 40 can indicate the increased inflammation of a flare. Hopefuly the Remicade will take care of that. Be gentle with yourself, ok? Love... Tess
Guest guest
Hi Tess, I have no choice but to be gentle, since I can hardly move. What an awful flare I'm having. I called my MD right before 5PM to ask him about adverse reactions to the Remicade, and he looked in the PDR. He told me that increased joint pain and muscle pain, with a flu-like syndrome, can occur for a few days after the infusion. He doesn't work on Thursday, but told me to page him if I'm still having problems. The pain meds aren't even touching this. How are you doing, Tess? Are you feeling pretty good? You're always in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you have a pain free evening. Love and hugs, Carol Re: [ ] Post-Infusion update Hi Carol...you must be flaring good! Guest guest
Hi Carol...I'm sorry you're going through this. Hopefully it is a temporary thing and will pass soon. And I'm glad you're taking good care of yourself. I've been struggling with IBS since the ultra sounds. I did call my Dr. today as it has gotten pretty bad. She prescribed Levsin - which I've never tried. My daughter is going up to get it for me. My RA is doing so-so. Thanks always for the prayers, Carol. You're in mine, too. I hope for a speedy turn-a-round is this current seige you're dealing with. Much Love & Many Gentle Hugs... Tess
Guest guest
Oh, Tess, IBS certainly isn't fun to go through. I hope the Levsin is quick and effective. Thanks for being such a great friend.
