Hi Carol...Here, you fill out the paper work and they

run a background check. They'll send a packet with

all the instructions along with your access code. You

can call the telephone system as many times as you

want to listen to the available jobs or they will

contact you by telephone and then you call in. They

pay $12/hour here. It is easier to get the jobs if

you personally register at some of the schools and ask

them to call for you. I have been active over the

years through PTA and volunteer work so I know quite a

few teachers, principals and supervisors at the Admin

office for the district. Just call the schools your

kids have attended to tell them you are available

after you are accepted as a substitute. I love

teaching junior high and do not like to teach the

little ones as I just don't have enough energy. With

all of your children and your great sense of humor, I

think you would be an excellent teacher. Good luck
