Also, please remember to renew your membership in NSYABA. Here are

some benefits of keeping your NYSABA membership current:

. Membership in a professional organization devoted to behavior

analysis at a membership fee significantly below the cost of other professional

organizations. We are the only organization in New York state whose mission is

to further the application of ABA. This organization is leading the way in

accomplishing the formal recognition of behavior analysis certification

statewide. By being a member, you are promoting that effort.

. Advanced notice and discounted prices at our annual conference. If

you haven't been to one of NYSABA's conferences, they are well attended and

provide attendees with information, resources and professional contacts in the

field of behavior analysis.

. Opportunities to attend beginner and advanced training workshops

throughout the state given by experienced professionals in the field.

. An Internet message group on which you can post questions or

opinions on a variety of interesting topics related to behavior analysis.

. An opportunity to make professional contacts in the field and

become part of a growing organization.

Here are some things to look forward to in the upcoming year:

. A new and exciting website that will have pages devoted to

membership privileges, clinical information, job advertisements, etc.

. A new and improved newsletter which will have both clinical and

administrative articles.

. More workshops given throughout the state on a variety of

interesting topics.

. An ever-increasing focus on family support issues and family

involvement in the organization.

. Ongoing information provided to members regarding the status of

behavior analysis certification in the State of New York.

Please download the membership form as a PDF file or download the

membership form as a WORD file, checking the box marked renewing member on the

back. Send the form to the address at the bottom along with your yearly dues

(amounts for each category are listed on the front of the form). Don't hesitate

to copy the form and distribute it to other interested persons!!

If you have any questions or suggestions for our organization,

please do not hesitate to contact JoAnne Gerenser, the current President, or

Cicero, the Membership Chair. Thank you for your support! NYSABA needs

you, and ABA needs you!

Sincerely,

Cicero,
