Guest guest
Hi , is doing well. He was a Dalmation for Halloween!! Everyone thought he was really cute (how could they not!!!hehehe). We go in for IVIG in the morning. And of course I again went to the store to buy him a new toy for the occasion. We had another scare (which makes it two times this week) with the milk allergy. The first one was Tuesday night when I gave him corn (gerber) and I did not realize that it had milk in it. Then Thursday night we went to dinner and I asked the manager if he could have the cook puree up some sweet potatoes for since he was still hungry. He said sure and they were at the table in minutes. Well two bites into it he started to gag, cough, sneeze, drool, snot, mouth turned completely rasberry, shiners, and severe wheezing. We almost had to call for an ambulance (I was quite scared and confused). But a nurse was there and realized it was an allergic reaction and gave him some benidryl (sp) which took about 5 minutes to get down him and he started to get better really fast. I told her he was fine with sweet potatoes and she went to the kitchen to ask if the blender was clean before they did it and found out the cook had added milk to make them more smooth. I was not mad at them though. It was an honest mistake and the cook was just trying to be helpful. I made it perfectly clear to the manager that I did not want the cook to get written up or anything and he agreed. Anyway, all is fine now. OH, and is pulling to a stand on anything he can get his little hands on to with a good grip!!! happy halloween *S* > > > > >Hi all!!! Hope al the lil pumpkins are healthy.
