Guest guest
Dear Coral, The errors you describe are typical ones that I see with even typical children. You may want to teach him the discrimination between the tens (10, 20, 30...) both receptive and tact. I typically don't go through teaching each and every number up to 100. After 19, it's just naming the " 10 " and adding the following number. So, once you have the " 10s, " with some immediate prompts and fading across the " 10s " , he should learn to generalize the skill without having to teach each number. I hope this helps.
