Amy: When you say bloated, are you constipated too? Do you normally

eat lots of grains in your diet? Are you taking any probiotics? I am

not familiar with the SP detox, does the program offer any type of

product to keep the bowels moving? I am a holistic health counselor

and if you want to email me off line, I can give you a few suggestions.

My first thought is that you are drinking " empty " water. This is what I

call water without anything in it, such as purified water. It will

cause you to retain water. To allow your body to let go of the water,

mix some sea salt into it.

If you are curious as to why " empty " water is " bad " for you, let me

know, and I'll post what I learned in anatomy class.

Good luck,

Roxanne

Roxanne,

I would like to hear what you have to say about " empty " water. I have

been using a mineral replacement in my RO water and have been very

happy with the results.

If it is the detox that has you drink salt water every morning the bloating

could be from fluid retention because of not enough potassium. Check your BP to

see if it is high for you. In Lets Get Well, Adelle suggests taking a

gram of potassium and then checking your BP in an hour to see if it is lower.

We had the opposite happen when the dr prescribed potassium and the BP dropped

by about 1/3 normal and pulse shot up. June
