Guest guest
Great for spreading the word to family memebers! Beaumont Hospital is proud to announce our workshop: An Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Teaching Children with Autism. This workshop has been generously funded by the Lula C. grant to provide families with twelve hours of information at NO COST! Families will learn the behavioral rationale behind why their children are lacking in language, play and socialization. Furthermore, they will learn helpful tips for increasing all of these deficit behaviors. Complicated and confusing concepts of ABA will be simplified and put into the context of child behaviors. Discrete trial teaching, incidental teaching, and tips for teaching play and socialization will be taught through role playing, videos, and verbal explanation. Workshops are held in Royal Oak, MI on the weekend Sat & Sun 9-4 to accommodate working family schedules. Supplemental materials (Leaf & McEachin A Work in Progress) will be available for $50. If you are interested in signing up, please contact Mardi Bobkin at 248 691-4731 or via email at mbobkin@... Our next workshop will be held May 15-16, 2004 Please visit our website at www.beaumonthospitals.com/hope for other upcoming workshops.
