Guest guest
Beaumont Hospital is proud to announce our workshop: An Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis for Children with Autism. This workshop has been generously funded by the Lula C. grant to provide families with twelve hours worth of information at no cost! Families will learn the behavioral rationale behind why their children are lacking in language, play and socialization. Furthermore, they will learn helpful tips for increasing all of these deficit behaviors. Complicated and confusing concepts of ABA will be simplified and put into the context of common child behaviors. Discrete trial training, incidental teaching, and tips for teaching play, and socialization will be taught through role playing, videos and verbal explanation. Workshops are held on the weekend (Sat & Sun 9-4) in Royal Oak Michigan.Supplemental materials (Leaf & McEachin) will be available for $50. Our next workshop will be held May 15-16, 2004 If you are interested in signing up please contact Mardi Bobkin at 248 691-4731 or email her at mbobkin@.... Want to learn more about the HOPE Center?
