Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of any educational software that actually promotes vocalisations. This is for a little three and four month old boy who is severly dyspraxic, can produce (fluently) some singular sounds under instructional control, but cannot as of yet produce blends (vc nor cv). He also has a limited variety of spontaneous vocalisations and shows a lot of intent to communicate through pecs and now sight words. He also loves pc games and is learning receptive language and concepts very rapidly, learnt approx. 100 sight words in 6 weeks and is using those functionally and in a variety of concepts. The only program that I have heard about so far is " talk to me " . I am not sure if this cd rom will encourage him to produce sounds. I am thinking more of him vocalising different sounds into a microphone producing different outcomes on the screen... If anyone has any more information I would greatly appreciate if you could post this or e-mail me privately, Thank you, Dianne
