Help with Phenonip Ingredients

Hello,

Longtime lurker here.

I have been searching for two days for the % of the ingredients in

Phenonip with no luck. I have looked at the NIPA links and cannot

make heads or tails out the information as to ingredients that should

be shown on labels. Can anyone provide that information for me

please. Also, once I have my labels set up, I would like feedback on

them if that is OK.

Unless they have changed Phenonip does not include Isobutylparaben.

Liquapar PE does though.

Phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparaben (and) Ethylparaben (and)

Butylparaben (and) Propylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben

The information that I posted was based on the 9th edition of the CFTA

Dictionary and internal Clariant (Nipa) documents.

Would we be in agreement that the ingredient list for Phenonip

remains the same as your original reply, Maurice?

One other question, at what percent is each ingredient in the list?

Would I not need this info to properly list those items on my label?

I'd stick with " Phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparaben (and) Ethylparaben

(and) Butylparaben (and) Propylparaben (and) Isobutylparaben "

100% Phenonip contains:

71.7% to 73% Phenoxyethanol

15% to 17% Methylparaben

3.5% to 4.5% Ethylparaben

1.6% to 2.4% Propylparaben

1.6% to 2.4% Isobutylparaben

1% Phenonip contains:

0.717% to 0.73% Phenoxyethanol

0.15% to 0.17% Methylparaben

0.035% to 0.045% Ethylparaben

0.016% to 0.024% Propylparaben

0.016% to 0.024% Isobutylparaben

0.75% Phenonip contains:

0.538% to 0.548% Phenoxyethanol

0.113% to 0.128% Methylparaben

0.026% to 0.034% Ethylparaben

0.012% to 0.018% Propylparaben

0.012% to 0.018% Isobutylparaben

No. Because according to the FDA labeling regulations:

(f) As an alternative to listing all ingredients in descending order of

predominance, ingredients may be grouped and the groups listed in the

following manner and order:

(1) Ingredients, other than color additives, present at a

concentration greater than 1 percent, in descending order of

predominance; followed by

(2) Ingredients, other than color additives, present at a

concentration of not more than 1 percent, without respect to order of

predominance; followed by

(3) Color additives, without respect to order of predominance.

Ingredients specified in paragraph (f)(2) of this section may be

included with those specified in paragraph (f)(1) of this section and

listed in descending order of predominance
