Guest guest
Hi I have a child who despite years of ABA/VB is having problems still on two fronts, behaviors like I have never seen. These include aggression, self injury, flopping and tantrums. He also is ready to flop and tantrums when he sees his school. Since he has continued absence seizures for sure (and other types) and is on multiple meds and has a whole host of more physiological problems I am sure some/most of the " behaviors " are rooted in his underlying problems. I have had Dr. Carbones first two workshops and continue to evaluate our program at home and attempt to meet with staff at his school. It does not make sense to me that if I am using the techniques I should, that this should not be happening, especially the behaviors when he sees his school building. I know these things could crop up but can I please get input and any similar experiences? With this in mind I want to find a consultant to come every several months since I do have a program and staff at home. Can someone email me privately if they know anyone who would be willing to come up here to Maine? I dont want just anyone who is a BCABA as I like to think I really know what I am doing and the school does as well we just need an outside person to provide input?? Thanks Leighanne mainecollier@...
