Guest guest
Hi! I couldn't wait to share the good news. Many of you have been instrumental with advice and encouragement while I was coordinating educational treatment plans for Evy (6) and Ethan (4). Some of you know Ethan through the Early Learner movie. Well, on Monday this week, Ethan was undiagnosed by the same dev ped who originally caught his disability at 9 months old. He now has NO SYMPTOMS OF AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER. This means that I am now the parent of only 1 ASD boy. It feels wonderful. This doesn't mean that Ethan is perfectly normal. He has some grammatical issues and fine motor deficits. But these are not spectrum issues. He still likes to be naughty. It was a little disconcerting to have the Dev Ped actually put him in time out because he was playing tricks on her! Evy is still learning and developing and all three of my children are a joy to me. But it feels so good to lift the label. Thanks again for all of your support through these wonderful groups. God bless you all! t Burk juliet@... www.autismteachingtools.com Home of " The Early Learner at Home "
