Clearing up Articulation and Teaching to Read

My four year old son has autism and problems with articulation. We

found Leap Frog Letter Factory and Word Factory very helpful. The

Letter Factory video uses songs to teach children the sounds of the

letters. Since he has been listening to the Letter Factory he can

better pronounce the sounds now. He has also learned all the sounds

of the letters which is the beginnings of phonics reading. Before

he could read but only by sight. Now he is watching the Word

Factory and learning to put the sounds together to read words.

Videos are a great teaching tool for him. Hope they help you too.
