Hi all,

I am on the interview committee for our new Special Ed director here in

Ann Arbor MI, and would like any feedback on the candidates I have (or

their districts), if by chance anyone out there can tell me anything,

good or bad. In order not to clog the lists, please send it to me

directly at babmay11@....

Pam Krogness, currently Assistant Director of Special Education, Cobb

County Schools, Marietta GA (also worked in special ed in Omaha &

Lincoln NE in the past)

Archer, Executive Director of Student Services, Dep't of Special

Ed, Denver Public Schools. Previously was Director of Special Ed in

Richmond, VA ('98-'03) and Cleveland OH ('89-'98)

Bernice Fluker, Assistant Superintendent of Exceptional Education, Mount

Clemens Schools, MI, Previously was Director of Special Education,

Inkster, MI

Woods, Director of Special Education, Jenison Public Schools, MI.

Previously was Director of Special Ed, Forest Hills Public Schools,

Grand Rapids MI

Uribe, Director of Special Education, Dearborn Heights, MI.

Previously Director of Special Ed, Hamtramck, MI

Henry McQueen, previously Superintendent of Schools, Buena Vista School

District, Saginaw, MI and Director of Special Ed, Schwartz Creek, MI.

Obviously we would like someone who is parent-friendly, or at least open

to our input and also not anti-ABA, since we want someone who will not

dismantle our programs that we have worked so hard to put in place for

kids with autism. Thanks very much for any help you can give!
