Guest guest
Hi, For about three weeks, my 8 almost 9 year old son has been blinking his eyes. It started off slowly, but has increased considerably over the past couple of days. So much so that this blinking is occuring several times a minute. I spoke to his psychologist and he's suggested putting him on Tanex (Guanfacine). Checking webmd.com it says that its used for patients with high blood pressure and that it's not FDA approved for children under 12. So now I'm wondering if there are any other parents out there whose children are on this medication and how its going for them. I'm also interested in hearing from parents who have NOT put their children on meds and are using specific behavioral tactics (we've been doing ABA since 1999.) Any advise would be much appreciated! Thank you, Michele
