We will also be kicking off an exciting event coming up in your area,

the inaugural WALK NOW Atlanta. Since their inception, WALK NOW

events across the country have helped the Cure Autism Now Foundation

to raise $3 million to help fund research into the causes of and cure

for autism.

WALK NOW is unique because it not only features a FREE fun 5K family

fundraising walk, but also includes an Autism community resource fair

with games, moon jumps, entertainment, face painting and more. Cure

Autism Now is giving back to the community by organizing and uniting

your efforts into a collective sea of people walking towards a common

goal: identifying causes and cures for autism.

Founded in 1995, the Cure Autism Now (CAN) Foundation is an

organization of parents, clinicians and leading scientists committed

to accelerating the pace of biomedical research in autism through

research, education and outreach. Since its founding, Cure Autism

Now has committed over $20 million in research, the establishment and

ongoing support of the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange (AGRE), and

numerous outreach and awareness activities aimed at families,

physicians, governmental officials and the general public. Our

overwhelming success is due to our efforts at reaching out to people

and expressing our urgent message about autism research and funding

needs. Our continued momentum also depends on continued input and

support from community members.
